This science and technology (S&T) festival continues to shine a spotlight on the critical role S&T and plays in our development. Given our growing understanding that innovation is the key to future economic competitiveness and progress, this interaction by all sectors of society is vital.

It offers a multifaceted approach: on one hand we will highlight the research efforts of our scientists from various institutions along with their collaborative efforts while on the other hand we will showcase new and emerging technologies with powerful interactive displays.

Students at all levels: nursery, primary, secondary and those of tertiary institutions will finally come together under one roof to learn and experience S&T alongside each other.  In a world where creative ideas represent some of our most valuable assets, lets embrace this event that has the ability to transform how our youth view and interrelate with science and technology in their daily lives.

The objective of this three-day event is to bring together all sectors of society in a forum which allows for professionals from various fields to promote dialogue among themselves as well as the wider community. The festival gathers together researchers, industry and Barbadian youth for a super scientific showcase and educational platform.

This S&T festival was born out of the necessity of providing a consistent platform for our scientists to share their research findings, to mentor and engage our youth in matters related to S&T and to bring new technologies out in the open for every individual to become aware and engaged.
